Liturgy & Spiritual Life Commission

The mission of the Liturgy & Spritiual Life Commission is to promote the personal and communal spiritual development of all members of the Parish through the celebration of the Eucharist, liturgical celebrations of faith and worship, prayer ministries and other spiritual growth opportunities. In addition, we assist the pastor with the liturgical and sacramental needs of the Parish community, including the training and development of the laity in their ministerial roles.

Each ministry within this commission seeks to present the real Presence of Christ to their fellow parishioners, whether in the Eucharist, the Word, Music, Prayer, or in Ritual.

All women of the Parish are invited to join the Women's Spirituality Group on the second Saturday of each month,  just after the 9:00 AM Mass. Come join us for good conversation and fellowship.

We meet next on Saturday, January 12th, at 9:30 am.
Beverages and light breakfast snacks will be served.

Feel free to contact Elaine Lovelace at 545-3251 with any questions.

Praying Hearts is a St. Joan of Arc prayer ministry, welcoming prayer requests from all parishioners for themselves, a loved one or a friend in need.  The person may have medical problems, upcoming surgery or other life issues.

Any adult members of the parish who feel led to join this ministry are invited to join our group of Praying Hearts by receiving periodic emails with a list of those in need and offering prayers for those who have requested them.  Please feel free to contact Elaine Lovelace at 545-3251 if you have a prayer request or wish to join.

Check out the weekly news and events, weekly bulletin or monthly calendar for Music Ministry practices.
There is a need in the following areas:

Children’s Liturgy of the Word—Anyone interested in leading the Children’s Liturgy of the Word, on a monthly basis.  Books are available as a guide.

We need people to lead the Rosary—Before the 5:00 Mass and 10:00 Mass.  This would be on a monthly schedule and to fill in when someone is away.  Booklets are available.

There is a need for Liturgical Ministers (Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Hospitality Ministers, Choir Members and Altar  Servers).

Please give prayerful consideration of God’s calling for you to serve in any of these ministries.
